How I changed my life in 2023, so you can do it in 2024.At the beginning of 2023, I found myself in a rut. I was at university, pursuing a bachelor's degree that made me feel depressed. I had no sense of purpose, no drive, and was ignoring the voice in my head telling me what to do. Something had to change, and deep down, I knew what it was. I felt like absolute sh*t... And that was a clear sign from my body and mind telling me to stop. Again, something had to change. Hence, at the beginning of 2023, I decided to regain control of my life. I decided to listen to that little voice in the back of my mind, and once I listened, it became clear what I had to do. It was telling me to do what I wanted, instead of what others wanted me to do. It was telling me to pursue my own goals, not someone else's. It was telling me to follow my passion, which, by default, will show you your purpose. So, if you find yourself in the same place I was at the beginning of 2023... Listen to that same voice. Trust me, it will be the best thing you do this year. Once I started to follow my dream – having a stable life for my future family – my passions for self-development and video editing, and doubled down on them... Everything started to change. I grew to 230k followers across social media and helped many along the way, because I listened to that voice. I was able to start working out consistently and build a healthy body, because I listened to that voice. I was in a mentally stable place, because I listened to that voice. I was better for my family, because I listened to that voice. I made more money in 2023 than I ever had in my life, because I listened to that voice. So, if you find yourself in a similar situation and I could give you one piece of advice for 2024... Listen to that voice. A lot can change in a year. Wishing you all the best for this new year! Let's work towards our dreams and goals. Warm Regards, |
Key Takeaway from The Alchemist. The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, tells a story about a little Shepard whose dream was to see the pyramids in Egypt. In order to reach the pyramids, he had to go through a lot. He encountered many obstacles along the way, worked many different jobs to pay for his trips, and felt discouraged many times. But he never quit and always kept pushing. Finally, he reached the pyramids. He found the pyramids absolutely beautiful, but not nearly as beautiful as the path he had to make to reach them. The friends, the skills, and all of the adventures he had gone through were much more exciting than his final goal. Hence the key takeaway I found in this book was that the journey to your dreams will be much more thrilling than achieving the dream itself. Hence, the following quote ⬇️ Something you need to hear.“
The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination.
